CabsOn Service

Support For Larger UK Corporate Taxi Accounts

Every CabsOn business account gets the same core portal — cost centres, budgets, approvals, SSO and monthly VAT invoicing. Here's what that looks like as your organisation grows, and how to reach us.

Instant fixed-fare quotes for taxis and airport transfers across the UK.

  • Fixed fare — no surge
  • Licensed, DBS-checked drivers
  • 24/7 online booking

CabsOn's business portal — business.cabson.uk — gives every corporate account the same core tools regardless of size: departments and cost centres, monthly spend caps with approval workflows, single sign-on for staff logins, API access for programmatic bookings, and one consolidated monthly VAT invoice. As your organisation grows and the number of travellers, departments or approval chains gets more complex, we work directly with you to configure the account properly rather than leaving you to figure the portal out alone.

We don't publish a fixed headcount threshold or a standard SLA for this — every organisation's structure is different, and we'd rather have an honest conversation about what your account actually needs than promise a number we can't reliably hold to. What we can tell you plainly is what the portal itself does, because that applies to every account from day one.

What does every CabsOn corporate account get, regardless of size?

Departments and cost centres with a monthly spend cap per department, an approval workflow you can turn on for bookings above a threshold you set, single sign-on with Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra ID via OpenID Connect (SAML 2.0 for providers like Okta is on our roadmap but not live yet), API access for programmatic bookings and invoice retrieval, and one consolidated PDF invoice each month with a matching CSV for Xero, QuickBooks or Sage. None of this is gated behind a minimum traveller count or a paid tier — it's the standard business account.

How do we support an account as it gets bigger?

As the number of departments, approvers or travellers on your account grows, the configuration work — mapping your cost-centre structure, setting up SSO, agreeing invoicing terms, importing a traveller list — genuinely gets more involved, and we work through that with you directly rather than pointing you at a self-serve wizard and leaving you to it. Register at /corporate/register with an indication of your expected size, and our team will get in touch to talk through what your rollout actually needs.

Who do we talk to if something needs escalating?

Questions about your account structure, invoicing, or a booking that needs looking into go through the support contact in your business portal. We'd rather be honest that we don't currently publish a fixed response-time guarantee than promise a number we can't reliably hold to across every account — if a specific SLA matters for your procurement process, ask us directly and we'll tell you what we can commit to for your account.

How does CabsOn compare to Uber for Business or Bolt Business here?

Global platforms like Uber and Bolt operate at a scale where dedicated account management is typically reserved for their largest enterprise tiers. We're a UK-only operator, which means every corporate conversation is with people who understand UK VAT invoicing, UK licensing, and UK-specific procurement questions from the start — but we're not going to claim a bigger internal support structure than we actually have. If a global, always-on enterprise support tier is a hard requirement, that's worth being upfront about during evaluation.

What do I need to provide when registering a larger account?

Your company details (legal name, registered address, VAT number), a rough sense of traveller numbers and departments, and whether you need SSO or API access from day one. From there we configure cost centres, invoicing and any SSO connection together, and can run a pilot with a smaller group before rolling out to the whole organisation if that's useful for your business.

What we don't currently offer

We don't operate a tiered account-manager assignment system with named delivery roles, and we don't publish fixed SLA response times, because we'd rather not promise something we can't reliably guarantee across every account. If those specifics are a hard requirement for your procurement process — a named individual, a contractual response-time SLA, a formal quarterly business review cadence — ask us directly when you register and we'll tell you honestly what we can commit to for an account your size, rather than what a generic page implies.

What we can commit to is the platform: cost centres and department budgets, approval workflows, OpenID Connect single sign-on with Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID, API access, and one consolidated monthly VAT invoice with a CSV export that imports cleanly into Xero, QuickBooks or Sage. Those are the same for every business account, and they're the reason most of our corporate customers say reconciliation moved from days to minutes rather than the account-management relationship itself.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Is there a dedicated account manager for UK corporate taxi accounts?

We don't operate an automatic, headcount-triggered account-manager assignment system. What every corporate account gets from day one is the full business portal — cost centres, approval workflows, SSO, API access and monthly VAT invoicing — and for larger or more complex rollouts, our team works through the configuration with you directly. If a named point of contact is a hard requirement for your procurement, ask us when you register and we'll tell you honestly what we can offer for your account size.

How long does onboarding take for a larger corporate account?

It depends on the complexity of your cost-centre structure, whether you need SSO configured, and how many travellers you're importing. We don't publish a fixed day count because it varies too much between organisations to be a reliable promise — register at /corporate/register and we'll give you a realistic estimate for your specific setup.

What support do we get if something goes wrong with a booking?

Support requests go through your business portal's support contact. We don't currently publish a contractual response-time SLA — if that matters for your procurement process, ask us directly and we'll be upfront about what we can commit to.

Does CabsOn assign account managers based on our sector?

We don't operate a formal sector-matching assignment process. Our team does work with organisations across law, hospitality, healthcare, recruitment and other sectors regularly, and picks up sector-specific context as part of onboarding rather than through a pre-assigned specialist.

Do larger accounts get discounted rates?

Pricing is based on your actual usage and journey mix rather than a published discount tier. If your volume is significant, raise it during registration and we'll have a straightforward conversation about rates — we don't publish a specific percentage threshold because it depends on too many variables to promise a number upfront.

How does CabsOn compare to Uber for Business or Bolt Business on account support?

Global platforms like Uber and Bolt typically reserve dedicated account management for their largest enterprise tiers. We're UK-only, so every corporate conversation already understands UK VAT invoicing and UK licensing without translation — but we won't claim a bigger account-support structure than we actually run. If always-on global enterprise support is a hard requirement, weigh that honestly against what we've described here.

Can we get cost-centre and budget reporting without a dedicated account manager?

Yes — the Reports page in every business account (not just larger ones) includes spend by department, top travellers, cancellation rate and driver ratings, exportable as CSV or PDF at any time. This isn't gated behind account size.

How do I register a larger corporate account?

Register at /corporate/register with your company details and an indication of your expected traveller numbers and departments. Our team will get in touch to configure cost centres, invoicing and SSO with you directly.
