Why we run PHV not hackney

The Knowledge required for hackney licensing takes 3 to 4 years to complete and is one of the hardest licensing exams in the world. PHV licensing is rigorous (DBS check, medical, topographical exam, vehicle inspection) but does not require the full Knowledge. The result is more drivers, more vehicle classes, and a pre-booked-only model that lets us price predictably and run fleet upgrades like the Mercedes V-Class 8-seater that black cab body styles cannot match.
