Marylebone station is the London terminus of Chiltern Railways, running regular services to Birmingham Snow Hill and Moor Street, Bicester Village (for the outlet shoppers), High Wycombe, Aylesbury and Oxford. It is smaller and calmer than Paddington or Euston, but it is busy enough at peak that the taxi rank on Melcombe Place, immediately outside the main entrance, can queue for ten to fifteen minutes when a train empties out. Pre-booking avoids that. Give us your train number or scheduled arrival time and the driver monitors Chiltern's live board — if your service runs late, the pickup slides with it at no extra cost. For arrivals we usually meet inside the concourse near the Whistlestop and the ticket gates, or on the rank itself if you would prefer to walk out yourself. Baker Street, Regent's Park and Madame Tussauds

Marylebone shades into Baker Street and Regent's Park at its northern edge, and Madame Tussauds sits directly on Marylebone Road, almost opposite the station. For Madame Tussauds specifically the coach loading bay controls kerbside access on Marylebone Road, so drivers set down on the western side and walk you the last few metres if the closer stop is blocked.

Marylebone and Paddington are only about a mile apart on the map but a nuisance on foot with cases — Edgware Road cuts between them and the pavements narrow around the flyover. A taxi does the journey in 8–15 minutes off-peak and is by far the easiest way to move between Chiltern Railways and the Elizabeth line or Heathrow Express. Similar picture for Euston (10–20 minutes via Marylebone Road and Euston Road), King's Cross St Pancras (15–25 minutes), and Victoria (15–30 minutes depending on how Hyde Park Corner is running). If you are connecting between two trains with a tight window, tell the booker your onward departure time so we can flag if the timing looks marginal and, if it does, put you in an estate or MPV so luggage is not a factor.

The area's landmarks are dense enough that most rides start and finish within it. The Wallace Collection on Manchester Square, Broadcasting House at the top of Regent Street, the Wigmore Hall on Wigmore Street, London Business School on the outer edge of Regent's Park, Selfridges at the Oxford Street corner, and the Chiltern Firehouse on Chiltern Street. Marylebone High Street itself — Daunt Books, La Fromagerie, the Sunday farmers' market on Cramer Street car park — is a common drop-off request. If the High Street is closed for the market or a road event, drivers use Marylebone Lane or Paddington Street; both give roughly the same door access.
